If you are at all interested in history in general, and in the history of Israel in particular, visiting the Ben Gurion House on Ben Gurion Avenue in central Tel Aviv is a great idea. This is because this house was the work residence of former Israeli prime minister David Ben Gurion, and a ot of things related to his work and life are on display here. David Ben Gurion and his family lived in the house between 1931-1968, and Ben Gurion gave the house to the State of Israel in his will, which is the reason it is still a museum today. In our opinion, the most impressive part of the museum is David Ben Gurion's library on the second floor, but make sure you get a guide if you go, since they will be able to tell you all the important facts and all the trivia you should be aware of about the house and Ben Gurion's life. More information on what you can expect from the museum can be found over at Wikipedia.
