According to Architectural Digest, anyway. (But we've read this elsewhere too, so there seems to be some truth in this) The reason being, presumably, that the Bauhaus school was of German origin, so there is a connection to Germany, and Tel Aviv boasts the largest collection of these buildings in the world.   A whopping 3.2 million dollars are said to be donated by Germany for this purpose, and we definitely look forward to seeing Tel Aviv become even prettier than it is today!   Read more on Architectural Digest.
